ThetaTracker is a read-only analytics product for reviewing imported broker activity, positions, market context, and journaling data. This policy explains what data we store and how we use it.
Information We Collect
- Account information such as your email address and authentication method.
- Broker-linked credentials you enter in Setup, such as refresh tokens, client secrets, account numbers, or Flex tokens.
- Imported portfolio data such as trades, positions, balances, notes, and setup state.
- Operational telemetry such as error reports and product analytics events.
- Messages you send to us at [email protected].
How Broker Credentials Are Handled
Broker credentials are stored encrypted at rest and are used only to fetch data from the broker services you connect. ThetaTracker is designed as a read-only product and does not place trades. Wherever your broker supports it, you should grant read-only access only.
How We Use Data
- To authenticate your account and keep your session active.
- To import and display your journal, positions, balances, screener context, and related news.
- To monitor reliability, debug issues, and improve product workflows.
- To respond to support requests and product inquiries.
Third-Party Services
ThetaTracker may rely on third-party services for broker connectivity, transactional email, analytics, and error monitoring. These providers process only the data needed to perform those services on our behalf.
Data Retention
We retain account and imported journal data until you delete your account or request deletion. Certain operational logs and backup copies may persist for a limited period as part of security, recovery, and troubleshooting processes.
Your Choices
You can disconnect broker credentials from the Setup tab and you can request account deletion from the app when signed in. Data deletion instructions are also available at thetatracker.app/data-deletion.html. You can also contact us if you have questions about stored data.
